Home Learning Literacy

Hi Bloggers and welcome back to my blog,

This week in literacy we have been carrying genre studies this week we have looked into the genre of science fiction.

We have gone deeper into sci-fi and looked at alien invasions at first we had to choose a film from 1950 and a film from the past 20 years and write the differences between them.

Then we had to choose from four photos and write a short story about it this is mine here.

Man gets struck by a sand storm on mars.

He makes his own base and makes his own food to hopefully stay alive until someone can come get him.

But then one night this man wanted to do stargazing. He saw not many stars but he saw one thing hovering over top of him, he was wondering what it was. Then the man went back to his base and did a bit of research about things flying above mars and came up with satellites. He had a massive think to himself saying I don’t think it was a satellite but I could be wrong. The next day the man started to write a little diary about the previous day, he started it like this last night I went stargazing something was hovering over top of me I was wondering what it was. It went like this. I came back to my base and searched it up on google, I had a quick thought to myself to think if it was help or what or is it a satellite. The next night I thought I’ll go stargazing again. I set up in the same place and the same thing flew over top of me again. I thought and thought, ``What is this, I was then like I've got a name for  UFO. UFO stands for  unidentified flying object.

Have you ever done a story about UFO?

  1. Nice story Cooper,I like your descriptive words like stargazing and hovering.
Maybe think about starting a new sentence after a full stop....
