Today I will be sharing you my work on the effects of livestock on waterways.
If farmers start to fence waterways it will protects the freshwater from nutrients.
Fencing will help maintain and improve the quality of water and create a habit for birds and other freshwater species.
Determining where you should put your fence?
Under the government stock exclusion rules, all dairy cattle need to excluded from all lakes and waterways with a bed wider than 1 metre.
