Hi Blogger and Welcome back to my blog,
This week the whole of New Zealand has gone into lock down so we have gone back to home learning.
For Literacy this term we are focusing on genre studies and the genre we are studying is horror.
We had to write a story about ghosts my story was about a little boy named Timmy, Timmy lived with is dad in a very old wooden house.
My story isn't that long but I think that its a good story, This is my story here
The Boy who didn't believe
I don’t believe in ghosts, Timmy said.
You never know, said Timmy’s Dad.
What do you mean Dad, do you believe?
Well Timmy do you not hear the noises of the house creaking at night time? That might be the ghosts. Timmy you see nobody will ever be able to find out if ghosts are true or not but if you don’t believe in ghosts then that's what you think.
Timmy had to find out for himself.
Timmy set his alarm for 1 am and went hunting for ghosts because dad said they are out at night.
Timmy crept down the hallway with his head torch on his head, as it got darker there was more creaking.
Timmy saw the door move in the darkness, his heart was beating so fast as he walked towards the door.
Slowly Timmy started tiptoeing down the hallway and as he got even closer to the door a gush of wind sprinted past him, Timmy was wondering what it was, then he heard the door slam.Timmy went to the door and knocked on it and waited to see who it was, he turned off his torch and waited to see what was going to happen. Then when the door opened it turned out to be his Dad standing in his undies which really scared him. Timmy would have preferred to see a ghost.
Have You ever looked into the genre of horror?
